In October, the University of Warsaw is organising a series of workshops and meetings, primarily for international students who are starting their studies at the University of Warsaw this academic year.
The events are organised by Welcome Point UW. The October series includes workshops and tours of the University of Warsaw’s Main Campus.
Campus Orientation Tours
To understand the University better, Welcome Point, in collaboration with the University of Warsaw Museum, has prepared tours for students. 1,5-hour guided walks will allow to better understand the Main Campus.

Smooth Start
A workshop „Smooth Start at UW” will take place on 28th October. Participants will learn about the stages of cultural adaptation and their impact on studying abroad, academic communication styles in Poland – online and offline, the cultural dimensions shaping Polish academic norms, how to give and receive feedback across cultures, and practical skills for adapting communication in an international environment.
