The University of Warsaw features amongst the world’s elite institutions in 16 of the 46 subjects and 4 subject areas featured in the 7th edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

 

The QS World University Rankings by Subject includes the world’s top universities in a range of popular subject areas. It is based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.

 

To create the ranking authors evaluated over 4 400 universities, qualified over 3 000 and ranked 1117 institutions in total. Over 127 million citations attributions were analysed and verified the provision of over 18 900 programmes.

 

This year’s edition of the ranking features 46 subjects. 16 programmes provided by the UW were listed there. The number of the UW programmes in the ranking is growing. In the previous year there were 10 programmes. The list below presents UW subjects which were ranked in the QS World University Rankings by Subject in 2017.
