On 12th February, a meeting was held at the University of Warsaw between representatives of university authorities and a delegation from the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic. Discussed topics included the possibilities of developing cooperation in teaching and research.
The meeting between representatives of the authorities of the University of Warsaw and the delegation of the Slovak Republic was held on 12th February in the Golden Hall of the Kazimierzowski Palace on the UW campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście.
From the University of Warsaw, the meeting was attended by Prof. Sambor Grucza, the UW Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Human Resources, Prof. Maciej Raś, the UW Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education Quality, and Robert Grey, the UW Chancellor.
The Slovak side was represented, by Róbert Zsembera, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, and Martin Cimerman, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic.
The participants of the meeting discussed issues related to the building and strengthening of relations between Poland and Slovakia in the scientific, research and academic fields in the context of the developing relations between the two countries. Discussions included the development of the Slovak Studies Department at the University of Warsaw and issues related to medical education and artificial intelligence.
