On 7th July, Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw, met with the Ambassador of Portugal to Poland. Discussions with Mário M. Duarte focused on the possibility of expanding academic cooperation with Portuguese institutions.

Mário M. Duarte visited the University of Warsaw. During his talks with the Rector, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, he discussed opportunities for expanding scientific and business cooperation, as well as student exchange between the University of Warsaw and Portuguese universities. The Ambassador highlighted the significant involvement of Portuguese companies in Poland and the interest of Portuguese universities in student and faculty mobility. He also emphasised the role and importance of Portuguese studies at the University of Warsaw.

Rector Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak noted that there are further opportunities to develop mutual relations, emphasising the role of Portuguese companies in employing University of Warsaw graduates, conducting joint research, student exchanges, and teaching Portuguese.
