European Environmental Economics and Policy is a new second-cycle joint degree programme run by five member universities of the 4EU+ Alliance, including the University of Warsaw, as part of the M3EP project funded by the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme.

M3EP is a two-year joint master’s degree programme conducted by five member universities of the 4EU+ Alliance: the University of Warsaw, Heidelberg University, Charles University in Prague, University of Copenhagen and University of Milan. Graduates of this course will be able to apply their knowledge and competences in economics and environmental policy of the European Union, including the policy on green transformation.

 

The first year of study will be carried out at the University of Copenhagen, and the curriculum will be adapted to the chosen specialisation path (already pursued during the second year of study). The second year of study will be taken at one of the Alliance universities, depending on the chosen mobility path. At the University of Warsaw, the studies will be organised by the Faculty of Economic Sciences.

  • Comparative Environmental Policy (Heidelberg University);
  • Climate Change and Energy Economics (University of Milan);
  • Policies and Politics of Green Transformation (Charles University, Prague);
  • Economics of Green and Fair Transformation (University of Warsaw).
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters

European Environmental Economics and Policy (M3EP) is the second Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme run by 4EU+ Alliance partners. Previously, the MERGED project launched the Global Environment and Development joint degree programme run by the University of Copenhagen, the University of Milan and the University of Warsaw. At the UW, the Global Environment and Development studies are organised by the University’s Centre for Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development.
