The Welcome Point at the University of Warsaw has opened its Pavilion for students, doctoral candidates and employees beginning their studies or job at the University of Warsaw. The information point will be open until 17th October. Newcomers can get answers to all questions about studying and working at the University of Warsaw, as well as everyday life in Warsaw.

At a time when students are most uncertain, the Welcome Point is expanding its team and launching its Welcome Point Pavilion. In a temporary space on the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw, employees, students, doctoral candidates, and alumni will provide information to new students and employees of the University of Warsaw, especially from international community.

At the Welcome Point Pavilion, students can obtain information about:

  • University matters – including course registration, USOS, eduroam (Wi-Fi) and obtaining a student ID,
  • Practical matters – housing (dormitories), healthcare, and legalising of stay in Poland,
  • Location of University campuses and units on the map of Warsaw.

Additionally, Pavilion staff will assist students with registering for language courses and physical education classes, connecting with other units, such as the Admissions Office and the International Relations Office, and provide daily tips on life in Warsaw.

The Pavilion is open for four weeks – from 22nd September to 17th October, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Pavilion operates on a drop-in basis – no prior registration or sign-up is required.

Students can also access necessary information online via Zoom, from Monday to Friday, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
