On 15th September, a delegation from South Korea visited the University of Warsaw. The meeting with representatives of Chung-Ang University focused on opportunities for developing scientific and research cooperation and student mobility programmes.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Sambor Grucza, the UW’s Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Human Resources, Prof. Agata Bareja-Starzyńska, Dean of the UW’s Faculty of Oriental Studies, Prof. Ewa Rynarzewska, Head of the Department of Korean Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and Dominika Frąk-Dudzińska from the International Relations Office.
Chung-Ang University (CAU) was represented by, among others, Prof. Su-Han Woo, Vice-President of International Affairs, Ainsworth Lee, Deputy Director, Office of International Affairs, and Yerie Kim, Coordinator of Student Mobility Programmes.
The purpose of the Korean delegation’s visit was to discuss opportunities for developing scientific and research cooperation and student mobility programmes.
Chung-Ang University is a private university based in Seoul. Cooperation between the University of Warsaw and CAU has been ongoing since 2023 as part of a university-wide student exchange agreement. There is an active exchange of students between the two institutions.
