Enrolment for free sports classes for employees of the University of Warsaw will start on 8th February. In the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, there are classes in water fitness, badminton, table tennis, or dance.
The classes are aimed at UW employees, retirees and pensioners. Registration for the classes will take place in two rounds. The first round will begin on 8th February at 9.00 am and will last until 11th February.
In the first round, each eligible person can enrol in one group within the available limit of places. If the limit is not filled, a second round of enrolment will be launched, where it is also possible to enrol for the second class.
On 14th February, the UW’s Physical Education and Sports Center (PL: Studium Wychowania Fizycznego i Sportu, SWFiS) will share information on vacant places in the groups. A day later (15th February), at 9.00 am, the second round of registration for classes in groups with vacancies will begin. Registration will continue until the limit of places is reached. If there are no places left, the second round of registration will not be opened.
Enrolment is possible only via the form on the SWFiS UW website under the “For employees” tab. The full offer, descriptions of classes, timetable of meetings and additional information are also available at the website. More information can be obtained via e-mail at: sportowy.uniwersytet(at)uw.edu.pl.
The classes will be held at Banacha 2a and Dobra 56/66 (the building of the Warsaw University Library, level -1).
