On 10th January American pianist – Eugen Indjic will play masterpieces of great composers. It will be the first Chopin concert prepared on the occasion of 200 years of the UW.
Eugen Indijc is the prize winner of three international contests. He occupied 4th place in the 8th Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in 1970, 3rd place in the Leeds International Piano Competition in 1972 and 2nd place in the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in 1974. American pianist has performed with the leading orchestras of the United States, Europe and Asia.
Besides Fryderyk Chopin’s compositions the audience could hear also pieces of Robert Schumann and Ludwig van Beethoven.
The concert will take place on 10th January at 17.00 in the Auditorium Maximum at the University of Warsaw. (Krakowskie Przedmieście Street 26/28)
