From 29th to 31st May, the International Congress of Spanish History was organised at the University of Warsaw. The event was attended by researchers from 14 countries.
The International Congress of Spanish History is the first of its kind organised in Central and Eastern Europe.
The participants of the event were welcomed by Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw.
“I am very pleased that the International Congress of Spanish History is taking place this year at the University of Warsaw. Spanish universities were always open for Polish students and academics as a place of studying and transferring knowledge,” Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the UW Rector, said.
The opening ceremony of the congress was also attended by the ambassadors of Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Portugal and Venezuela.
