Just before Christmas, the representatives of various institutions and academic communities share season’s greetings. Professor Marcin Pałys, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, wishes many fortunes to the students and the staff.

“May everyone have new ideas for the University, new ways of developing the research and education. Let us not be passive takers of signals from the outside world – let us be its shapers.

My wishes go to everyone who focuses on research, scientific work or on teaching students – I wish you brilliant ideas that will be feasible to realize and bring you satisfaction. And I wish the students new knowledge and the ability to make the best use of the time they spend in our academic community.

Christmas time is a moment which allows us to slow down; this year, this moment will be very long. Let us use this occasion to rest and start the new year with renewed energy”, says the Rector.
