A signing ceremony of a letter of intent was held on 18th June in the Kazimierzowski Palace. The partnership is aimed at organising the AI Forum in Karpacz.

A letter of intent has been signed by seven representatives of the University of Warsaw, the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Cracow University of Technology, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, AGH University, Poznan University of Technology, and the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies (the organiser of the Economic Forum in Karpacz).

“Science must not only follow, but in fact must exceed the needs of the modern economy and civilisational development. Modern universities should be tied with business and new technologies. We want to educate future entrepreneurs, innovators and creators of the market. The Artificial Intelligence Forum in Karpacz is intended to support these actions. There we will be exchanging experiences, determining needs and defining common goals, and thus building up a competitive economy and fostering international security. Our students and graduates have immense potential,” said Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw.

Robert Grey, the Chancellor of the University of Warsaw, added, “The organisation of the AI Forum during the upcoming Economic Forum in Karpacz is an event of exceptional meaning. In the era of dynamic development of artifical intelligence, such an event serves as an essential platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices among scientists, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.”

The AI Forum will be held between 3rd-5th September 2024, organised as part of the 33rd Economic Forum in Karpacz. It is a pivotal annual gathering for eminent experts in artificial Intelligence.
