From Monday, 12th May, in the Auditorium Maximum on the UW’s main campus, it will be possible to sign a letter with words of support and wishes for recovery for Tomasz, a university security guard, who on 7th May risked his life to come to the rescue of our Fellow UW Employee. The letter with the signatures will be handed over to Tomasz, who is in hospital.

Dear Tomasz,

Our Colleague and Friend!

Since the day of the tragic events on the campus of our University, we have all been trembling for your health and life.

Today, we already know that you are safe, and thanks to the tender care of the doctors, your life is not in danger.

Your attitude and full readiness to help another human being, at the risk of your own health and life, inspires our admiration and deep respect.

Your example allows us to believe in Humanity, strengthens our faith in human kindness, selflessness and willingness to sacrifice.

We all wish you a speedy return to full strength and health.

See you, Tomek!

The letter will be available to sign in the lobby of the Auditorium Maximum from 12th to 16th May between 8.30 am and 4 pm.
