The Faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw co-organizes 44th European Muscle Conference. The meeting will take place on 21th-25th September at the University of Warsaw.
The main theme of the Conference is “Muscle Research in Health and Disease”. Approximately 350 researchers will participate in that event, among others, scholars from Lorand Eötvös University, Thomas Jefferson University, University of Bonn, Institut Curie and Nencki Institute. The University of Warsaw will be represented by Prof. Anna Ciemerych-Litwinienko from the Faculty of Biology.
The scientific programme will consist of eleven themes, among others, “Acto-Myosin Interactions”, “Muscle Development and Repair”, “Skeletal Muscle Diseases” and “Smooth Muscle in Health and Disease”.

The opening lecture will be delivered by Prof. Michael Rudnicki from Ottawa Hospital Research Institute from University of Ottawa.
The event will be held in the Old Library of the University of Warsaw on the 21-25 September.
