“The Higgs boson and the new era in particle physics” – this is the title of the Prof. John Ellis’s lecture which will be held on 8th December.
The discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC opens a new window on physics beyond the Standard Model, which is required to understand the dark matter in the Universe, the origin of matter itself and many other open questions. What might this new physics be, and how can we find it?
The Prof. John Ellis’s lecture will take place on 8th December at 6 pm on the Faculty of Physics in room 0.03 (Pasteura 5 Street).
