Graphene Week is the biggest conference worldwide on graphene. The 11th edition of the meeting is being held at the University of Warsaw.
Graphene Week 2016 is supported by the European Commission’s Graphene Flagship Horizon2020 programme. The conference programme is focused among others on science, applications and synthesis of graphene and new 2D materials, graphene- and 2D materials-based nanocomposites, as well as graphene-related biomedical and environment research.
With a budget of €1 billion, the Graphene Flagship represent a new form of research on an unprecedented scale, forming Europe’s biggest ever research initiative. The core consortium consists of over 150 academic and industrial research groups in 23 countries. The University of Warsaw is one of the consortium members.
