The Team of Coordinators was appointed pursuant to the Ordinance No. 26 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 15 March 2024 on the appointment of the Team of Coordinators for Counteracting Unequal Treatment, Discrimination, Mobbing and Other Undesirable Behaviour (as amended) (available in Polish).

 

Tasks of the Coordinators

The Coordinators are appointed to:

• receive complaints regarding unequal treatment, discrimination (including harassment and sexual harassment), mobbing, and other undesirable behaviour;
• conduct their preliminary assessment and possibly refer the case to the appropriate Commission;
• collecting data and best practices informations as well as implementing policies on preventing the above mentioned phenomena at the University of Warsaw;
• collaborating with other entities, in particular trade unions, the Students’ Council of the University of Warsaw and the PhD Students’ Council of the University of Warsaw;
• taking initiatives to counteract all undesirable behaviour, especially preventive actions and promoting knowledge about manifestations of unequal treatment, discrimination, and mobbing in the workplace and in academic settings.

The scope of the Team of Coordinators’ tasks is described in the Ordinance No. 21 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 28 February 2024 on the policy for counteracting unequal treatment, discrimination, mobbing and other undesirable behaviour.

 

Complaints

Any person directly affected by undesirable behaviour, in particular in the area of unequal treatment, discrimination (including harassment and sexual harassment) or mobbing, may report the matter to the Team of Coordinators. The Coordinators will listen in a supportive and confidential atmosphere, provide all necessary information and assist in planning further steps.
