The Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, has appointed Magdalena Miksa as Academic Ombudsman. Her term will last until the end of August 2028.
On 25th September, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, appointed Magdalena Miksa as Academic Ombudsman. Since 2018, Magdalena Miksa has served as the Deputy Academic Ombudsman for Student Affairs and the Anti-Mobbing Coordinator at the University of Warsaw, and since 11th September, 2024, she has served as the acting University of Warsaw Ombudsman.
Magdalena Miksa is a lawyer, certified trainer, and mediator. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and completed the Postgraduate Studies in Negotiation, Mediation, and Other Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She has long-term experience in handling student and doctoral cases. As part of her work, she meets with students and doctoral candidates in need of assistance. She strives to understand the problem and support them in finding solutions. She specialises in conflict resolution and counteracting bullying.
