SEED is the 4EU+ Alliance initiative, which allows inter-university teams to receive funding for their educational or research projects. Applications are open until 3rd October.
Academics from eight member universities of the 4EU+ Alliance (University of Warsaw, Charles University in Prague, Sorbonne University, University of Heidelberg, University of Copenhagen, University of Milan, University of Geneva, and Paris-Panthéon-Assas) can submit proposals for joint research and educational projects to be implemented under the third edition of the SEED4EU+ programme.
Inter-university teams can receive funding of up to EUR 50,000. The competition is open to groups consisting of representatives from at least three 4EU+ member universities.
Applications are open to academics and teaching staff who hold at least a doctoral degree. Teams may also include early-career researchers: doctoral candidates and students. Project topics should relate to one of the four 4EU+ flagship programmes:
- Health and Demographic Change in the Urban Environment;
- Europeanism: Multilingualism, Diversity, Citizenship;
- Data – Models – Transformations;
- Environmental Changes.
The deadline for submitting applications is 3rd October at 4:00 PM. The project implementation start date is 1st January 1st, 2026.
