Quacquarelli Symonds published the second edition of the World University Rankings: Europe 2025, which is devoted only to the European academic institutions. The University of Warsaw took 96th place in the list as the best Polish university.

Quacquarelli Symonds prepares one of the most prestigious university rankings QS World University Rankings. This year, the second edition of the ranking was introduced, which is focused on the European universities – QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025.

 

The ranking covers 684 academic institutions from forty-two countries/territories, including thirty-two universities from Poland.

 

The following assessment criteria were used for the ranking: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, papers per faculty, international research network, employment outcomes, faculty student ratio, international faculty ratio, inbound exchange student ratio, outbound exchange student ratio, sustainability score.

 

In the current ranking of the European universities, the University of Warsaw took 96th place overall, and 1st in Poland. ETH Zurich is the best university in Europe according to this ranking, finishing ahead of Imperial College London and the University of Oxford, which are ranked second and third respectively.
