UW Welcome Point organises two-part workshop series for students who are living in UW dormitories. The aim of the workshop is to improve intercultural and comunicational competences. The registration is open until 25th April.

From Different Worlds to One Home – Peaceful Co-living and Intercultural Harmony is a two-part coaching workshop series designed exclusively for UW dormitory residents – both international and Polish students.

 

It is focused on enhancing communication, fostering intercultural understanding, and building lasting connections. Whether you attend one session or both, you’ll gain valuable skills in co-living, self-expression, and group dynamics — all through the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

 

You can register for one session or both.

Understanding, Accepting, Connecting – A Guide for Diversity

29th April, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM

 

How can you be yourself while living in a diverse community? This session focuses on recognising and embracing both cultural and personal differences.

 

How to Speak and Be Heard in a Tower of Babel – Communication Based on Needs and Understanding

6th May, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM

 

This session is all about learning to express yourself clearly and empathetically – and to listen with care. We’ll practise Nonviolent Communication (NVC) techniques that help build peaceful dialogue, especially in multicultural or high-stress situations.
