Gdy odnawiano budynek Dawnej Biblioteki wygląd zmienił nie tylko sam gmach, ale i jego otoczenie. To właśnie tam rośnie jedna najpiękniejszych wiśni japońskich, znajdujących się na zabytkowym terenie Uniwersytetu.
