On 24th November, a meeting with a delegation from Kosovo was held at the University of Warsaw. The discussions focused on the possibilities for developing academic cooperation and scientific exchange.
The meeting took place in the Golden Hall of the Casimir Palace on the UW’s campus on Krakowskie Przedmieście.
Participants included Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the UW Rector, Prof. Łukasz Zamęcki, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, and Dr Spasimir Domaradzki from the Department of Law and Institutions of the European Union at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies.
The meeting at the University of Warsaw was attended by Drilon S. Gashi, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Poland, and representatives of the University of Pristina, the largest university in Kosovo: Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, Rector of the University of Pristina, and Prof. Rozafa Basha, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Academic Exchange.
The discussions focused on opportunities for developing academic cooperation and scientific exchange between Poland and Kosovo, as well as the prospects for signing a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.
