On 12th December Professor Geert Corstens will deliver a lecture entitled “The constitutional position of judges: courage and modesty”.
In 2008-2014 Prof. Cortens was a President of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands – Hoge Raad der Nederlanden. He is a specialist in criminal law. Currently, in the winter semester 2016/2017, Prof. Cortens is a visiting scholar at the University of Warsaw.
The lecture The constitutional position of judges: courage and modesty” will be held in English on 12th December at 17.00 in the Ball Room in the Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace (Krakowskie Przedmieście Street 32).
The University of Warsaw unit – the Tadeusz Mazowiecki Chair as well as the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) organize the event.
