UW in recent rankings

The University of Warsaw was ranked 6th in the QS EECA University Rankings 2018. It was also listed in the world’s top 300 universities for computer science subjects.

 

The QS University Rankings: EECA 2018 includes the top 300 universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia. It was compiled by assessing universities on eight different indicators, including an academic reputation, web impact, citations per paper, and the proportion of academic staff members qualified to a PhD level. The University of Warsaw occupied 6th place. In a global QS University Ranking 2018, featuring over 950 best universities in the world, the UW was ranked 411-420.

Recently, The 2018 Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE) revealed 300 world’s leading universities in computer science subject. The subject tables employ the same range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings 2018, brought together with scores provided under five categories: teaching: the learning environment; research: volume, income and reputation; citations: research influence; international outlook: staff, students and research; industry income: innovation. The University of Warsaw was ranked 201-250.
