Every member of the UW community can come and ask Prof. Marcin Pałys a question concerning his electoral programme or visions of the UW. The meeting with the candidate for UW rector will take place on 22nd March in the Auditorium Maximum.
In the indication vote Prof. Marcin Pałys has received 171 votes of the electors – members of the Electoral College. Electors have nominated also three other Professors Alojzy Nowak, Jolanta Choińska-Mika and Leszek Kolankiewicz who could stand for the election. However, only Prof. Marcin Pałys has submitted written consent and expressed his will to become the rector of the University of Warsaw in 2016-2020.
The meeting with the candidate for UW rector will take place on 22nd March at 16.00 in the Auditorium Maximum (Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28).
The Electoral College consists of representatives of each group of the academic community, elected at faculties and in constituencies. In this year 364 electors are eligible for voting.
The University Electoral Commission is responsible for conducting the UW election.
