Do you want to study in English at UW or other Polish universities? We offer you an intensive programme which focuses on academic English as well as a basic course of Polish language. The deadline for sending application: 15th July.

 

Secondary school graduates from abroad who want to study in English at the University of Warsaw or other Polish universities can apply for the Foundation Year. It enables prospective students to begin a chosen study programme in social studies, humanities or science at Polish universities.

 

In order to apply, candidates should be on a B1 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

 

The Foundation Year lasts 9 months –  from 8th October 2018 to 7th June 2019. It is divided into two semesters. The programme includes 4 contact hours per day, 5 days a week.

 

In the first semester, participants learn English for academic and specific purposes and have a basic course of Polish language. The programme offers a social path module thanks to which participants can get acquainted with Polish culture, academic life, the university facilities and its surrounding. In the second semester, participants have specific degree courses run by the specialists.

 

At the end of the course, all the participants take the certification exam on the B2 level.

 

Participants who have a Bachelor or Master’s degree and want to apply for the second-cycle studies should be previously accepted by a chosen faculty.

 

Registration deadline:

  • the first intake: 1st June – 15th July
  • the second intake: 13th August – 2nd September

 

Fee: EUR 3100
