14-16 May will take place International Interdisciplinary Boredom Conference organized by the Institute of Sociology at the University of Warsaw.

 

Organizers are interested in every subject concerning boredom and related states. They propose thirteen sessions on boredom.

 

The main objectives of the Boredom Conference are: encouraging scientists, especially the young ones, to include boredom into their interests and implementing interdisciplinary boredom studies, creating space for creative discussion concerning boredom issues and linking up scientists from all over the world, developing frames of scientific thinking about boredom and creating foundations for further interdisciplinary boredom research and promoting a positive model of non-boring scientific conference, which implements results of researches on boredom.

 

It will be 56 speeches from Poland and abroad. The University will host guests from Canada, Great Britain, Spain, Romania and Norway.
